Claire’s prior work includes innovation in wastewater technologies, she worked on the forefront of international regulation change and innovation. In this work she led international European licensing agreements for nitrate and phosphate removal technologies into British companies. During the COVID-19 pandemic sewage surveillance was being widely used, but very manual. This drove Claire to start Untap Health. She also has a PhD with Rolls Royce Aerospace, understanding failures in materials of military aerospace engines, and ensuring their success in commercial engines.
